Where and what is the best way to grind money?

Answers

answer: Hmm, bug hunting and selling the bugs instead of trading them? Not sure as I haven't had a money problem issue since I hardly ever buy anything. Maybe Old Mansion or sewers for some decent earlish spots (I've only been playing about 17 hours and gotten my D Watch just recently so I don't have much knowledge of higher-level areas).

answer I actually find that using the Yo-cam is very useful since one of the early rewards I got was a Golden Doll which is sold for $800.

answer I could have sworn that the golden dolls sold for $600?

answer
I just finished the quest to the yo kai world and did as much grinding there as possible, after about an hour I was up $2000. Battling in all the quest spots like the school, the hospital and so forth gave me a lot of money. I do recommend selling all the dolls you get.

Yo-Kai Skill Guide: Reflecting Back At You

One of my personal favourite type of things to use in games are the kind of abilities, decks, teams and all that make your opponent think out their every move. Residual damage builds up over time and if your opponent isn’t careful with what they are doing, they could knock themselves out. Used alongside the right Inspirts, you could weaken your opponent before they could even unleash a Soultimate Move.
 dasdsadasdasdasdawdadadadadadadadadadawdadadadad
========================================================

Reflecting Skills

Bladed Body

Because of their sword-like bodies, when an enemy strikes Cutta-nah-nah, Cutta-nah, or Slacka-slash they will take 10% of their damage dealt back. It wont work though if they are charging a Soultimate move.
 dasdsadasdasdasdawdadadadadadadadadadawdadadadad
========================================================

Mirror Body

When Mirapo or Mircle receive damage from an enemies non-draining technique, they will reflect half the damage back at their opponent. It wont work if the attack knocks them out and it wont work if they are charging a Soultimate move.
 dasdsadasdasdasdawdadadadadadadadadadawdadadadad
========================================================

Spikey Guard

Spikes hurt. When an enemy attacks Coughkoff, Thornyan, or Hurchin while they are guarding, their spikes will cause you to deal back 1.5x damage. This wont activate if you are guarding while charging your Soultimate move and you can’t use it against bosses.

Yo-Kai Skill Guide: Inspirit and Soultimate Skills

Inspiriting and Soultimate Moves are two solid ways of attacking in the midst of battle. Various Yo-Kai rely on either making sure they use their Soultimate move often or Inspirit as much as they can to win in battle. This part of the guide will give you a quick look at what kind of Yo-Kai have skills that benefit them when they come against or use Inspirits or Soultimate type moves.

Inspirit Related Skills

Inspiriting can be a good way of boosting stats for you or an ally or inflicting a terrible status like a head cold (which lowers HP). Inspiriting is what the Yo-Kai do to you if you meet them, and it’s their key ability when they mess around with humans. Taking advantage of when a Yo-Kai inspirits you or how they inspirit you can be quite important. Some Yo-Kai can’t be hurt by a negative Inspirt while others might by able to steal all the good inspirits that are passed around by anyone, like Greesel.

Mine

Greesel will take all the good inspirits used on both allies or enemies and take them for himself. If there are two Greesel in battle, the Greesel that takes the inspirit will be randomized. It can’t be used on Soultimate moves or in boss battles.

Long Lasting

Statiking‘s good inspirits last twice as long.
Miraculous Scales and Matchless Shell
Peppillon, Betterfly, Enerfly, and Enefly have scales that prevent them from being inspirited, while Almi and Spenp can use their powerful shells to prevent being inspirited. All of these Yo-Kai cannot be inspirited, unless they are being inspirited by Awevil.

Hanging In

These Yo-Kai can’t be inspirited with negative effects; Blips, Compunzer, Dazzabel, Espy, Infour, Lafalotta, Lamedian, Negasus, Rattelle and, Skelebella.

Ultimate Dark

Awevil can inspirt anything or anyone, even if they have Miraculous Scales or a Matchless Shell.

Soultimate Skills

Soultimate Moves are the signature attack of each Yo-Kai. They are the strongest and most powerful attack or status moves any Yo-Kai can use. Unfortunately there are only two skills in the game that aide with Soultimate moves, both both are very good and can help in either defending or making quick and consistent use of filling your Soul Meter.

Dodge

Confuze and Daiz are completely unharmed by your opponents Soultimate moves.

Venocharge

Venoct gains 10 Soultimate Points every time he finishes any kind of action.

Yo-Kai Skill Guide: Yokai for EXP, Items, and Money!

There are a lot of Yo-Kai in Yo-Kai Watch, and after you beat the game (or even during your first play through), you might want to try and level up your team or befriend some Yo-Kai you missed out on. There are a few Yo-Kai who have skills that can help you make friends or find more items with ease. These Yo-Kai’s skills are not really powerful when they are in battle, but out of battle and after battle, you might find some more items or money in your pockets.
Helpful Yo-Kai
These Yo-Kai have skills that are not very good in combat, but outside of battle or when you’re trying to complete a quest or train, you may find them to be quite useful to have as an ally on your team.

Hard Worker

Draggie will help you and your team gain a little bit more experience after each battle.

Good Fortune and Stealing

If you win a battle your prize money will be doubled thanks to Noko, Gush, Whapir, and Bloominoko magically! Lodo will double that money by stealing it from your knocked out opponent.

Greed

These greedy Yo-Kai will help you get more items after winning against enemies. Wanston and Cynake

Summon

Pandanoko will increase the chances of a whisp appearing during a battle by 1.5x.

Popularity

If one of these popular Yo-Kai are in your party, you’ll have an easier time befriending Yo-Kai!
Dandoodle, Shmoopie, Pinkipoo, Casanuva, and Cupistol

Unpopularity

However if you don’t want to make new friends, having Casanono or Pookivil will make it harder to befriend new Yo-Kai.

UTIMATE tips! making friends in Yo-Kai Watch

Just be my friend already!
Yo-Kai Watch recently released in the west earlier this month. I've been having a blast with it, but I've also been having some difficulties as well. So far I haven't been able to find any good guides to help walk me through some of the game's more confusing aspects, such as befriending Yo-Kai.
It seems to be largely luck-based, as Yo-Kai will randomly come up to the player after a battle and ask to be friends. This can be a bit frustrating, especially when a side quest requires a specific Yo-Kai or when you come across that one Yo-Kai that you just have to have in your party. I found myself battling about 50 or so Noways before one of them finally decided to join me, which is when I decided there must be an easier way.
Thankfully, there are a few methods which can be used to increase your chances of making friends in Yo-Kai Watch.

The main thing you'll want to do when trying to befriend a certain Yo-Kai is figure out which type of food is its favorite. This can be a bit difficult, as there's no way to know for sure without throwing a bunch of different things at it and seeing which one it likes best. Plus, there are a ton of food types to choose from (rice balls, bread, candy, milk, burgers, ramen, vegetables, meat, and more). Some of them are easy to guess: for example, Mochismo, the Yo-Kai based on mochi, likes rice balls; and Chummer, the shark Yo-Kai who can be seen eating grass, likes vegetables. For everyone else, it might be simpler to just look up a guide rather than waste a bunch of food trying to figure out what they like the most. The best guide I've come across can be found here.
When using food during battle, press the Y button to use the food on an enemy rather than a member of your party. The food will usually be eaten by the center enemy in battle, so if you're looking to befriend a different one, either defeat the middle Yo-Kai first and then use a food item, or place a pin on the enemy you want to focus on. Strangely enough, it can sometimes end up that a Yo-Kai other than the one you threw food at will ask to be friends after the battle, which can be annoying, but it happens.
Another good tip for making friends is to try and find a Yo-Kai with the Popularity skill. This skill makes foes more likely to become friendly after battle, so it's always a good idea to have someone with this skill on your team while hunting for new pals. Yo-Kai with the Popularity skill include Cupistol, Casanuva, Shmoopie, and Pinkipoo. But make sure you don't have Casanono or Pookivil on your team, because their Unpopularity skill might scare potential friends away.
Cupistol and Shmoopie can be found relatively early on, so they will probably be the best bet for players just starting out. Cupistol is a rank D Yo-Kai who can be found in the Downtown area around Graduate Street to the north. Look around the trees there for a rank D to appear on your watch. Cupistol will also sometimes appear along with Happierre, a rank C Yo-Kai who can be found in the trees in that same area. Make sure to bring lots of bread when trying to befriend Cupistol.

Shmoopie is a rank C Yo-Kai who can be found in the grassy patches of Mount Wildwood. I believe this one always appears alone, so no need to worry about accidentally befriending someone else. Shmoopie likes hamburgers, so stock up on those before hunting for him.
The other two, Casanuva and Pinkipoo, can only be found later in the game. Casanuva can be evolved from a Cupistol if fused with the Love Buster item. Likewise, Pinkipoo can be evolved from Shmoopie when combined with the Love Scepter. They can also be found in the wild. Casanuva likes to hang out in Nocturne Hospital, sometimes alone and often as a counterpart with Betterfly or Compunzer. Pinkipoo can be found in the final area of the game, which is maybe a bit spoilery so I won't get into it here, but you'll know it when you see it. Both Casanuva and Pinkipoo enjoy the same food as their unevolved forms (bread and hamburgers, respectively).
The final tip is a bit more unreliable, but if you get lucky it can really help. Occasionally during battle, a floating wisp will appear which can be hit with a pin for various rewards. Sometimes, a bunch of hearts will pop out of the wisp, which means foes will be much more likely to become friendly after the battle. It's not something you can count on, but if you ever see a wisp during a fight with a Yo-Kai that you really want, be sure to hit it with a pin just in case!
Of course, even after doing all of this, there's still a chance that the Yo-Kai will not want to be your friend, which can be frustrating. But these tips should increase your chances significantly. I found that after obtaining a Casanuva, I was spending way less time grinding for friends, so apparently the Popularity skill works well, especially when combined with food. Just keep at it and eventually you'll have all the friends you could want!

Yo-Kai Watch Boss Battle Guide: How To Defeat The Toughest Yo-Kai In The Game

As you’re playing through the main story of Yo-Kai Watch, you’ll be encountering plenty of different level Yo-kai. Some are stronger than others, but the strongest in the game are the boss Yo-kai.
The Boss Yo-kai in Yo-Kai Watch are just as their names imply, the boss of specific chapters in the story that you’ll need to defeat in order to move on to the next.
These Yo-kai you cannot befriend and are more difficult than your average Yo-kai. You’ll have to implement strategy using the targeting system and preferably specific Yo-kai to help you get past these monstrous Yo-kai.
So we are compiling the list of Boss Battles you’ll encounter and the best ways to combat them so you can continue.
yokai watch Slimamander Slimamander iDigitalTimes
1.Slimamander
This boss is the first and easiest (no surprise) boss you’ll come across. As with this boss and the others on this list, you’ll want to make good use of the Target tab in battle.
With Slimamander your Yo-kai will continually hit one of the three eye-heads. It’ll do little damage but after a while, Slimamander will open one of its eye-heads. This is when it’s time to target and go all out on the one eye. This will do extra damage.
Continue the process until it is defeated.
yokai watch sproink Sproink iDigitalTimes
2. Sproink
This boss poises the first obstacle. Once you reach Sproink, you’ll have to have quick fingers in targeting this pig-like boss. As you can see from the above pic, Spronk carries two buckets that it uses to block attacks. One will block his stomach and the other will block his head. Those are the two spots you’ll want to target.
Be sure to have Yo-kai that can disrupt Sproink’s Soultimate because it will hit multiple Yo-kai and deal a lot of damage.
yokai watch sv snaggerjag SV Snaggerjag iDigitalTimes
3. SV Snaggerjag
This is where element types comes into play. Snaggerjag is a water element Yo-kai so you’ll want to carry some lightning Yo-kai on your team to deal critical damage.
What’s more, Snaggerjag actually calls upon some fish friends to help him fight you. In the beginning he’ll just summon fish that will attack you. But when his health dwindles he’ll bring in fish that will actually heal him. The fish are also water elements so lightning attacks will dispose of them really fast but probably even better if you don’t have lightning Yo-kai is to have Yo-kai whose Soultimate’s attack everyone on the enemy side. This will deal damage to both the boss and his fish.
yokai watch massiface Massiface iDigitalTimes
4. Massiface
This massive boss is another slugfest. The three hit points are its eyes and the x on its forehead. However, you’ll have to immobilize him first by attacking one eye after the other.
Massiface’s Soultimate also attacks all of your Yo-kai so be sure to have either high defense or a Soultimate of your own that will disrupt him.
yokai watch Phantasamurai Phantasmurai iDigitalTimes
5. Phantasmurai
Phantasmurai is a wind-based boss -- so you’ll want to avoid Earth-based Yo-kai -- whose weak spots are the center of the armor. Keep wailing it until the armor opens up. When this happens, the boss will be immobilized allowing for you to deal major damage to that same spot.
Keep repeating until it’s defeated.
yokai watch Tarantutor Tarantutor iDigitalTimes
6. Tarantutor
This spider Yo-kai boss is a tough one. Be sure to stock up on plenty of food to replenish the health of your Yo-kai because this may take a while.
Tarantutor is a lightning-based Yo-kai so earth-based are the way to go here. There are five spots in which to hit this boss. The four legs are where you’ll want to attack until they turn green. Once all four are hurt enough, it will fall from the ceiling and expose its stomach. This is the final spot to hit the boss and will present you the best chance to deal major damage as it flounders around.
You’ll also want to watch out for its Soultimate that attacks all of your front team and its inspirits are really powerful. It will either bind your front three Yo-kai in a web (or one if you have a protector) or it will focus on one Yo-kai and poison it. If you have a Yo-kai that is poisoned, quickly purify it because the poison does a lot of damage.
Also, inspirits won’t work on this Yo-kai at all. So focus on Yo-kai who attack with STRENGTH and TECHNIQUE
yokai watch dr. maddiman Dr. Maddiman iDigitalTimes
7. Dr. Maddiman
Dr. Maddiman is a very tough boss and if you aren’t perceptive and observant you may miss the biggest trick to defeating him.
The biggest trick to defeating Dr. Maddiman is to target the hearts that lurk around his office. By targeting them they disappear and this keeps Dr. Maddiman from healing himself. If you don’t, Dr. Maddiman will heal a lot of his health back.
But besides that, let’s get into Dr. Maddiman’s attacks. The Soultimate attack is what you want to worry about, it poisons all of your front three Yo-Kai. This will force you to rotate them out and purify them before the poison depletes their health.
I’ve had great success using Yo-Kai of the Slippery tribe because they avoid inspirits really well. Also, use Yo-Kai who tend to inspirit enemies more often because Dr. Maddiman takes a lot of damage from poison and burn effects. Coughkoff dealt a lot of damage using its poison.
yokai watch McKraken McKraken iDigitalTimes
8. McKraken
Now we get into the big boss of the game. Once you get to this boss, be prepared for a long drawn out battle so stock up on plenty of food and meds to give to your Yo-Kai. Use healers if that’s what you want but it’s not necessary.
There are three targets on McKraken, one on each hand and the head. Target the hands first to prevent him from using his attacks and then go for the head. Once all three have been hit long enough, that’s when you can go all out with your attacks to deal the most damage.
Like previous bosses, McKraken’s inspirit affects all three of your front Yo-Kai. Again, Slippery Yo-Kai avoid these easily so think about that when going up against McKraken.
McKraken’s Soultimate is a devastating attack that hurts all of your front Yo-Kai. McKraken shields himself with his tentacles as he charges up his attack. You’ll have three turns to knock the tentacles away and cancel his Soultimate. To counter this, use Yo-Kai whose Soultimate’s attack the whole field. This is also a good strategy to hitting all three targets on McKraken as well.
9. Slimamander 2
After defeating McKraken, Slimamander will appear in front of the school again stronger than before and you’ll have to defeat it again. Again, this boss is tougher and takes more damage and the targeting is more crucial this time around.
Slmamander has his three heads but only one eye. You don’t know which head the eye is in so you’ll have to guess and target one head at a time. Once you find the eye, you can start to attack it to deal extra damage.
If you knock the head without an eye, you’ll have to go onto to the others till you find it BUT that head you knocked out won’t attack you anymore.
Think about bringing Yo-Kai whose Soultimates attack the entire field to knock out the heads/attacks and reveal the eye quicker.
yokai watch McKraken 2 McKraken's second form iDigitalTimes
10. McKraken 2
After it’s all said and done, McKraken will try and infiltrate the human world and you’re the only one who can stop him.
McKraken is tougher this time and has changed his form. He will now use element attacks including Water, Wind and Electric. There is only one area to target and that’s the stomach and you’ll have to keep hitting it till he opens up his stomach and reveals a small orb. This is where most of the damage is done on McKraken’s second form.
McKraken’s inspirit affects the entire front row again so you should use Slippery Yo-Kai to avoid them. And his Soultimate will hit the front row also and doesn’t have a standard cancel like when his tentacles shielded him.
Stock up on food and meds and prepare for a long battle.

Yo-Kai Watch Evolution And Fusion Guide: Find Out When Yo-Kai Evolve And Which Fuse Together

Now that you are all well on your way in your Yo-Kai Watch adventure , you’ll want to know if your friendly ghosts are able to evolve into a stronger Yo-kai.
Yo-kai are able to evolve and what’s more, certain Yo-kai can fuse to become an even greater Yo-kai with new abilities, skills and stats. Some of these evolutions and fusions can be found in the world and are able to befriend, while others are not.
This is the best way to fill up your book of Yo-kai and even to unlock some legendary Yo-kai, but that’s a story for another day.
We have compiled which Yo-kai evolve at which level and which Yo-kai can fuse together below. In fact, some Yo-kai can only fuse with certain items and there’s a separate list for that down below as well.
To find each Yo-kai, check out our list of Yo-kai locations.
NOTE: This list is not complete. We are still compiling and verifying certain evolutions levels and fusions. We will update as soon as possible.

LEVEL UP EVOLUTION

Leveling up your Yo-kai will not only increase their stats, but once a cerain level is reached they will evolve. You can stop the evolution simply if you want to keep your Yo-kai the way it is.
It should be noted that once evolved, any rank increases in Strength, Technique and Soultimate will be lost. So keep that in mind when debating whether to evolve your Yo-kai or leaving it the way it is.

Yo-Kai Spot Guide

Yo-kai spots cannot by soft reset traditionally. To soft reset your game
press Start > Title > Continue. This will reset your game from where you
were last. Using this typically refreshes spawn areas for yo-kai.
However with yo-kai spots this will not work at least not in respawning them.
To refresh a yo-kai spot you must go to whichever spot you are looking for
talk and batle or recieve your reward first. If you try soft resetting
without doing this it will be the same yo-kai every time.
After doing this do not soft reset yet. You need to go to your room and sleep.
You need to sleep for 4 days and nights before a yo-kai spot refreshes.
In this manner Sleep till day > Sleept till Night. Ater the 4th night
it should have refreshed the Yo-kai Spot. once you have done this till
you see your desired yokai save before talking to them then you can
soft reset until you get whatever it was you needed.

Yo-Kai Watch Battle Guide: Tribes, Personalities And Element Types Explained

One of the most unique aspects of Yo-Kai Watch is the battle system. Unlike other monster hunting games like Pokemon, the yo-kai fight on their own while you perform other tasks to make sure your team comes out victorious.
It’s a little daunting with the amount of things that can happen in one battle but after some time you’ll be a master at yo-kai battles.
But we want to make the battle system easier to understand especially when there are so many small things that you will need to know before you go into your first battle. Of course, we are talking about the tribes, a yo-kai’s personality and the element types that can help you swing the tide of battle in your favor.
So let’s dive into the battle system in Yo-Kai Watch starting with the basics.

BASICS

Once you go into battle you’ll see four tabs on the lower 3DS screen. These tabs are SOULTIMATE, TARGET, ITEMS and PURIFY.
yokaiwatchgameplay2 The battle system in Yo-kai Watch Nintendo
SOULTIMATE is your yo-kai’s special attack and is the only order you can give to your yo-kai in battle. Once a battle starts, all of your yo-kai will have their spirit gauge full and you can perform your SOULTIMATE.
When it’s activated you’ll have one of three mini-games proc in your lower screen. Either spin the stylus till the gauge is full, or tap on the floating coins and the last is the trace the symbols using your stylus.
The spirit gauge will fill up on its own as the battle goes on but to fill it up quicker you can either use an item to fill it or attack an enemy yo-kai that is inspirited.
TARGET does just that, you can target which yo-kai you want to focus your attacks on. This makes it easier to knock down one enemy at a time. Or in the case of boss battles, you’ll use this to focus your attacks on a specific weak point.
You can also use this to target a wandering wisp. You’ll see this wisp as it goes across the screen, once you target it the wisp will go away and give you items and more experience.
ITEMS are pretty self-explanatory. You can use these items to recover health and spirit during battle but once you use it you’ll have to wait a few seconds before you can use another item. You can also use items before a battle begins, like using food on an enemy to make them friendly towards you or using an item to run away.
PURIFY is used when one of your yo-kai is inspirited by an enemy. You’ll see this by a giant X on your yo-kai’s slot in the bottom screen. What you do when this happens is rotate the wheel till the inspirited yo-kai is in your back three and then press PURIFY.
Like the SOULTIMATE, a mini-game will appear that will help your yo-kai overcome the inspiriting. This also gives extra experience.

STATS

With the basics out the way, let’s get into the individual yo-kai. The first aspect you’ll want to check out are the yo-kai’s stats.
There are four stats that determine your yo-kai’s strength and that is STRENGTH, SPIRIT, DEFENSE and SPEED.
yokai watch stats The stats for your Yo-Kai iDigitalTimes
STRENGTH determines how strong your yo-kai’s normal attack is. This is usually a physical punch, kick, slap etc..
SPIRIT is how strong your yo-kai’s technique is. This is usually the elemental attack that your yo-kai will employ.
DEFENSE is how well they can take hits.
SPEED is how well your yo-kai can avoid hits and being inspirited.

TRIBES

Yo-kai don’t have “types” like Pokemon does but they do have tribes that determine how their fighting style and stats are laid out.
yo-kai watch tribes 6 of the 8 tribes in Yo-Kai Watch iDigitalTimes
There are eight tribes that you can find in the world of Yo-Kai Watch.
Brave Tribes have the largest STRENGTH stats in the game as they excel at attacking.
Mysterious Tribes use powerful techniques so they excel in the SPIRIT stat.
Tough Tribes excel in the DEFENSE stat and can take plenty of hits.
Charming Tribes excel in the SPEED stat and are very hard to hit.
Heartful Tribes are the healers of the yo-kai world and use their powers to heal themselves and their team.
Shady Tribes use status effects and attacks that absorb HP.
Eerie use their Inspirit abilities to inspirit enemies. This is what they will focus on doing more than attacking.
Slippery Tribes like Charming Tribes are difficult to hit and inspirit. Good luck getting off attacks.
Now, you can utilize special team bonuses if you have more than yo-kai of a tribe in battle at a time. If your front three yo-kai consist of two or three of one tribe, they’ll get a boost in a specific stat. Obviously, if you have all three of your front yo-kai from one time the team bonus will be stronger than if there were only two.
Here are the team bonuses from each Tribe: (we are still testing)
Charming = Speed boost
Tough = Defense boost
Eerie = Inspirit boost
Shady = Inspirit boost
Brave = Attack boost
Heartfelt = Recovery boost
Mysterious = Spirit boost
Slippery = Inspirit Defense boost

ELEMENTS

Along with Tribes, each yo-kai represents a specific element that makes them strong and weak against other yo-kai elements. There are eight elements and you can identify which element a yo-kai represents by the element in the Technique tag of the yo-kai’s information page.

The eight elements and what they are strong against are shown below. NOTE: we are still testing

PERSONALITIES

The personality or attitude of a yo-kai determines its specific fighting style. More than its Tribe or stats, the attitude of a yo-kai can help you build a team of different-minded yo-kai.

NOTE: We are still testing which attitude does which and we will continue to update
UPDATE: The good folks at the Yo-Kai Watch subreddit has clarified some things regarding the attitudes. The first is the likelyhood of loafing. This is ranked from lest likely to loaf to most likely.
1. Serious
2. Stiff
3. Carefree
4. Loafer
The second part of ther personality, again, determines how they fight in battle and if a certain stat is increased. Here's a handy table to inform you what personality does what. More in-depth explanation of attitudes follow the table.
yokaiattitudes The table of attitudes/personalities in Yo-kai Watch Nintendo

Stiff: Less likely to Loaf around
Careful: Excels at guarding so it will take the brunt of the damage for your team to not get hit.
Rough: Focus on attacking
Collected: Will guard a lot
Carefree: More likely to loaf around
Grouchy: Focus on attacking
Serious: Less likely to Loaf around
Logical: More likely to use techniques
Twisted: Use inspirit more
Gentle: like to heal
Calm:
Tender: like to heal
Helpful: Use inspiriting to support team
Devoted: Use inspiriting to support team
Cruel: Use inspirit more
Brainy: More likely to use techniques
Attitudes of yo-kai can be changed by certain books that you will find on your journey so go ahead and experiment to see which yo-kai goes best with which attitude.

Yokai List and their location:

Here's is the list of all recruitable Yokai sorted by their medallium number
and where to befriend them. I have also included various other information
about the yokai such as their rank, favorite food, and which tribe they
belong to.

Please note that some of the yokai or locations listed may be considered
spoilers by some players. Proceed with caution if this concerns you.

Also while several Yokai can be obtained through the Crank-a-kai I only listed
that as a method for the ones that are exclusive to the crank (like Damona)
because of how random and unreliable it is.

Underground Waterway - Behind large door in central area.
 - You need to pull 3 levers which turn on colored lights to unlock the door.

 (1) Enter the Waterway from Shopping Street Narrows (Alley) (Shopper's Row)
and cross the first tiny bridge for a lever (Green light)

 (2) Enter Waterway from Delivery Bay (Alley) (Downtown Springdale) and cross
first bridge for another lever (Red light). It's directly across from where
 you came in.

 (3) The last one is a little bit trickier. It's in the far north part of the
waterway near the exit into Mt. Wildwood, but since the entrance in the
Wildwood is up on a ledge (Where those two chests are) you have to enter
 from Breezy Hills.

The Waterway entrance in Breezy Hills in located in the north part of the
city (Estates area). On the west river bank you'll find some stairs leading
down into the Waterway. (It'll look like you're going under a bridge).

Once inside just hug the right wall ignoring the little bridges until you
get to a gate that you have to interact with to open. Once through, head
north skipping the first bridge and crossing the second one. Head north a
tiny bit and cross the other nearby bridge to find the lever (Yellow light).

(4) Finally, Once the door is unlocked: Enter the waterway via the drain pipe
in Uptown Springdale, located on west river bank, to reach Awevil.
